Girls soccer keep looking for first win

The Greene County girls soccer team saw their season record go to 0-5 with three losses last week after facing Panorama, Kuemper Catholic and Grand View Christian. 

The Rams visited Panorama High School on Monday, April 8, falling 10-0, the Panthers scoring nine in the first half and one in the second to put an end to the game due to the 10 goal rule. Goalie Lucy Vander Linden was credited with 18 saves, with Chanlyn Cunningham taking the sole Ram shot of the night. 

On Tuesday, the Rams traveled to Carroll to face Kuemper Catholic, falling 10-0 after Kuemper made seven goals in the first half and three in the second. Vander Linden had 15 saves.

Thursday’s game was at home for the Rams, hosting Grand View Christian. Greene County faced a 6-0 loss. The Thunder scored three goals in each half, with none by the Rams. No stats were available for the game.
